Region IV Chair Update - July 2010

Hello, Region IV!

It is our hope that you are in the middle of a pleasant and relaxing summer! Please note some changes to our website:

We now have a blog as two of the region's students were selected to participate in the National Playwriting Intensive in Washington, DC. Read daily what Josh Ginsburg of Middle Tennessee State University and Daniel Martin of University of Alabama, Birmingham are experiencing during this two week writing intensive.

Have a question about KCACTF and Region IV? Go to our Frequently Asked Questions page and see if the answer is there, first. If not, please feel free to contact me at relman@westga.edu and I will be happy to get back to you. Who knows, maybe your question will make it to the FAQ page later!

Don’t forget to register your 2010-2011 productions. The Early Bird special, $50 off regular registration prices, will be offered until October 1, 2010.

Take care,
Shelly Elman
Chair, Region IV

Region IV Chair Update - February 2010

Festival 42 was an exciting one, celebrating new work and new takes on classical work. We were also privileged to experience international flavor as students and faculty from American University of Sharjah shared their improvisational production of Neveshaya. From incredible guest artists sharing their experience and knowledge, to enthusiastic and talented students sharing their talent, Festival 42 had something for everyone.

Thank you to all who participated! The generosity of the diverse people that make up Region IV is what makes our festival strong!
