Embodied Imagination for examining somatic markers that assist in expanding creative exploration. This approach can be utilized with dreamwork and with flashback/memory work to lead participants toward a more embodied experience of their character development. Equally important is how the work can influence exploring design elements that can lead to the evolution of design landscapes. Rooted in the extraordinary work of Robbie Bosnak, Jill Fischer, and Janet Sonnenberg, this workshop will be partially presentation, but mostly participation for those who want to play in the arena of the embodied imagination. Entryway into hypnogogic states, or altered states of awareness will be guided by the workshop leader and will also offer participants a chance to assist. If you have a monologue or an excerpt of a piece you are working on, or even are in the midst of developing a theatre design, we can work from a real life application.
