We are delighted and proud to have three exceptional playwrights as our NPP guests for the Festival. They will be with us throughout the week, experiencing the presentations of new work and offering the insights they’ve gained through years of experience.
Triza Cox
A South Carolina based theatre artist, Triza is currently the South Carolina Ambassador for the Dramatists Guild and is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. Her research and creative work center on playmaking using Jungian archetypes, motifs and symbols of the collective unconscious. Triza holds an MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Louisville and has trained with Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Jeffrey J. Petersen
Playwright, director, educator, actor, and Region 7 NPP Chair, Jef lives on the border of Washington and Idaho in the beautiful area known as the Palouse. He holds a MFA in Playwriting and Directing from the University of Idaho and a MA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Playwriting Pedagogy from the University of Oregon. Sherry M Shephard-Massat
Creator of many widely-produced and award-winning plays, Shephard-Massat holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
