Cooking Up Choreography

February 11, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Speaker: Mya Brown

When working in consent-based creative spaces artists are empowered to exercise their agency and communicate their boundaries. This approach enables a safer and braver professional workspace. Chelsea Pace co-founder of Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE) states, “Passion fades, choreography is forever.” This workshop will educate participants on the ten ingredients of Theatrical Intimacy. Come cultivate your sense of play and curiosity by crafting recipes of intimacy choreography. This workshop does not require any level of touch. Participants will examine the TIE intimacy choreography ingredients with boundaries and consent as our guiding practices.
