In this workshop, makeup artist Gordon Hensley explains, demonstrates, and facilitates using high pigment water-based makeup. Topics include water-based makeup, sponge application, brush application, finishing techniques, health & safety, and removal.

Gordon holds a BS and MFA in theatre, has been a college professor since 1999, and is a Fulbright Scholar. He also works as a freelance teaching artist and as a teaching artist for Mehron makeup.
Gordon has worked professionally as a makeup artist in national and regional arenas for companies including Paramount, Barter Theatre, and Theatre IV. He successfully completed Dick Smith’s professional makeup course and has currently worked makeup and wigs on 18 national Broadway tours.
