TERTULIA: A Playwriting Collective

TERTULIA is the name of a playwriting collective created by me specifically for black playwrights to gather, discuss and critique new work for the theatre written by its members. The workshop will speak to where the group originated from, why it was created, how it has expanded to include a casting pool filled with actors of all ages, who its sponsors are (The Dramatists Guild), its hosts (Alliance Theatre / Woodruff Arts Center) and, based on its current success, its potential to become a tremendous part of Atlanta’s artistic community.
